Kaylee's Soccer Game

Kaylee had her first soccer game on Sept. 8. She loves it! She does a lot of "hard work." Briana loves "soccer ball" too, and the twins (and Mom and Dad!) survived the first game as well. Gran and Grandpa were there cheering her on as well of course.

Kaylee played goalie the first half. She stopped 50% of the shots taken on her...it was one of the two times the ball reached her. She has a pretty good team. We didn't keep score, but I'm sure it was something like 20 to 3.

Mmmm...good eaters. Kaylee now has enough front teeth to efficiently eat corn on the cob. And Briana loves spagetti, but does not especially love using her fork to get it into her mouth. Silverware seems to slow her down too much.

Twins First Bath & Blessing

Spencer Joshua and Jacob Charles were blessed by Josh on Sept. 2. The looked so cute in their little white tuxes! In these pictures, you get a little glimpse of one difference in their personalities. Spencer is calm, and Jacob is protesting. Fun to be able to see differences in them this early on.One Proud Papa!!

Grandma Schramm came for the blessing. She needed to get her "baby fix" since it had been about 2 weeks since she was here last helping out.

Our family...now Josh isn't out numbered.

The boys couldn't have asked for better sisters. Kaylee and Briana loves the boys and are both big helps (Briana in her own way) with them.

The First Bath

Spencer enjoys his bath...cries when we take him out.
Jacob could do without bathing...what a boy!
He cries while in and is happy when we get him out.

The Twins are Born!

Jacob Charles and Spencer Joshua were born on August 11, 2007. Jacob was 6 lbs. 14 oz, Spencer was 6 lbs. 13 oz. Both 18 inches long.
Here they're getting ready to venture out into the world for the first time.

Aunt Courtney came to see us while still in the hospital. She's lucky Kaylee let her hold the babies...Kaylee doesn't like to share her Aunt Courtney!

Gran and Grandpa getting to know the new grandkids! How many is that for you now?
I think these two make 23, right?

Josh is in trouble for taking this picture...and for putting it on the blog! I'm sure he wants to prove that I really have gotten some sleep since the twins were born.

Any gueses as to how big?

Good thing for Josh's shorts and flip-flops...
